It has been almost three years since we last increased our prices, but the rising cost of pretty much everything has meant we have had to take a fresh look at our pricing.
While we’ve absorbed big increases in the costs of energy, cheese testing, printing, packaging and delivery over the past year, unfortunately these rises are now having a serious impact on us. We also need to make sure that the business can sustain the salaries that our excellent and skilled cheese team deserve.
As a result, we have now applied a price increase across all of our cheese products. We have also increased our standard delivery charge from £7 to £8, which is a little less than the actual cost of packaging and delivery. We will still offer free delivery for orders over £40.
We have also given some thought to our cheese bundles and are adding a product called Five Favourites, which includes retail packs of our standard four cheeses, plus Cheddar.
Any subscriptions or subscription vouchers already purchased will continue as normal for the duration of the subscription period.
We know that the cost of living crisis is affecting everyone, and we know that our cheese is a luxury for many of our customers.
We have resisted increasing our prices for as long as possible. We hope you understand our reasons for doing so now.
